Role in Brain Imaging

DAPI (4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole) binds to AT-rich regions of DNA, labeling every nucleus in the tissue section. In PanoBrain workflows:

  • Segmentation anchor — nuclear segmentation algorithms operate on the DAPI channel to identify individual cells
