Collaboration at the Core

At Cell Bio 2025, ScientiaLux demonstrated what happens when specialists collaborate on a single platform—not a vendor bundle, but a purposefully integrated imaging system built around the needs of live cell biology.

The emphasis was on system integration, how the right combination of objectives, cameras, and detection architecture can unlock performance that no single vendor could deliver alone. By pairing Teledyne Photometrics cameras with a four-channel simultaneous detection path, the system eliminates filter wheel delays entirely, achieving over 70% faster acquisition than traditional three-camera configurations.

Special thanks to Ultimeyes and Inscoper, whose teams were central to the collaboration and to the technical discussions throughout the meeting—including late-night conversations about camera selection, objective matching, and the surprisingly complex math behind pixel size and magnification tradeoffs. And a grateful nod to Chroma Technology, their high-transmission filters and superb dichroic flatness are the foundation for everything we do in large field-of-view fluorescence imaging. (We're also deeply grateful they didn't lock down their calibration slides after hours—those plastic standards came in clutch when we needed them most!)

What was shown at ASCB was a working system: four synchronized cameras, no filter wheels in the detection path, and a price point that makes multi-channel simultaneous acquisition accessible—enabled by deliberate coordination between partners and a shared focus on integration and performance.
