Built by Microscopists, for Microscopists The Octagon Data team brings decades of experience working alongside leading microscope manufacturers.
High-Performance Computing for Imaging Workflows
Octagon Data solves computational, storage, and connectivity challenges in modern microscopy by offering a complete local IT solution designed for image processing workflows. Based in Heidelberg, Germany, the company develops systems that store and process large data volumes while integrating with existing microscopy infrastructure.
PRIME Platform Components
The PRIME Center, with up to two processors, 160 computations cores, and high-capacity RAM, handles large multidimensional datasets across multiple concurrent virtual machine and user sessions. Processor-heavy applications such as AI modeling and segmentation, deconvolution, and multidimensional analysis are centralized and supported, producing improved resource management, accessibility, and tracking.
PRIME Disk is scalable storage ranging from terabytes to petabytes, supporting imaging, analysis, collaboration, and archival needs. PRIME AI aggregates GPU resources for machine learning and DNN applications, including model-based segmentation, pattern recognition, and many other complex analytical paradigms. PRIME Node ensures integration with existing laboratory infrastructure through secure connectivity and user-friendly operation.
