TissueFAXS: Precision Whole-Slide Cytomorphometer

TissueFAXS delivers automated whole-slide imaging through a family of modular systems engineered for your evolving research needs. TissueFAXS grows with your laboratory from basic brightfield to advanced multispectral confocal imaging to automated slide loader systems.

Versatile Configurations

TissueFAXS is a modular whole-slide imaging and tissue cytometry platform that combines single-cell quantification with spatial context directly within tissue sections. It integrates automated high-resolution scanning (brightfield, fluorescence, confocal, multispectral) with advanced image analysis (see AI-enabled StrataQuest) to extract quantitative phenotypic and structural data from both single cells and tissue architectures.

The TissueGnostics platform supports oversized slides, fixed or live-cell imaging, and high-throughput (e.g. 120-slide loading systems) and is available in upright and inverted configuration. It comes with consistent, automated cell, tissue, and spatial-level analysis options with the flexibility to support your research imaging question.

ScientiaLux offers the following systems:

  • TissueFAXS PLUS: Upright system supporting brightfield and up to 10-channel fluorescence
  • TissueFAXS i PLUS: Inverted platform for live-cell and culture applications
  • TissueFAXS Q+: Spinning disk confocal technology without photobleaching concerns
  • TissueFAXS SL: High-throughput systems with 120-slide automation
  • TissueFAXS SLQ+: High-throughput scanner with 120-slide automation for brightfield and fluorescence confocal imaging

Begin with what serves your current studies and expand as your needs evolve. With a base TissueFAXS brightfield setup, you can later add fluorescence, confocal, or multispectral capabilities without replacing hardware. The system can grow into a multispectral confocal platform, preserving your initial investment while enabling more advanced imaging as your research deepens.
